What benefits are covered?
All Medicare Supplement Insurance plans offer four basic benefits, but certain plans include additional benefits.
The chart below shows all eight Humana Medicare Supplement Insurance plans and what benefits each plan provides. A check mark means that the plan fully covers the benefit. A specific percentage, such as 50% or 75%, means the plan partially covers the benefit. A blank means the plan doesn’t cover the benefit.

Plans offered vary by state.
1Humana offers a high deductible Plan F and may offer a Medicare Select Plan F in your area.
2Plan K has an out-of-pocket yearly limit of $5,240 (in 2018). After you pay the out-of-pocket yearly limit and the yearly Part B deductible, the plan pays 100% of covered services for the rest of the calendar year.
3Plan L has an out-of-pocket yearly limit of $2,620 (in 2018). After you pay the out-of-pocket yearly limit and the yearly Part B deductible, the plan pays 100% of covered services for the rest of the calendar year.
4Plan N pays 100% of the Part B coinsurance except for a $20 copayment for office visits and a $50 copayment for emergency room visits that don’t result in an inpatient admission.
Coverage may be limited to Medicare-eligible expenses. Benefits vary by plan and the premium will vary with the amount of benefits selected. Depending on the plan chosen you may be responsible for deductibles and coinsurance before benefits are payable. These policies have exclusions and limitations; please call your agent/producer or Humana for complete details of coverage and costs.
How do plans differ?
Each lettered plan is standardized by the federal government to provide the exact same benefits. This means that one company’s Plan F will provide the same benefits as another company’s Plan F.
The main difference between two plans with the same lettered name is price.
Each insurance company charges different premiums for each plan.
